About me

I'm Iulia.

I have been teaching yoga in Timișoara since 2022 — after travelling to Bali to train and realising this is what I want to do. I hold 550 hours of certification and I keep going back for more courses whenever I can.

My story

How I got here

I started yoga with fairly simple intentions — I wanted to be more flexible, more active, more disciplined. I was looking for a sport that suited me, something where I could feel that progress came directly from how much I put in, without depending on anything else.

Yoga was that. I felt quite quickly that the more consistently I showed up, the more my body and mind responded. It is not spectacular, it is not instant — but it is real and it is yours.

"Yoga is the one thing that, no matter how chaotic the day, brings me back to myself."

At some point I started wondering what a class would look like exactly as I would have wanted to be taught. Not that anything else was wrong — every instructor has their style, and that is beautiful. But I had a clear vision of what a complete class meant to me: presence, intention, and always shavasana at the end.

So I went to Bali. The first training was 200 hours of Vinyasa in 2022. I went back in 2024 for another 300 hours of Ashtanga-Vinyasa, and again in 2025 for Aerial Yoga. Each training changed something in the way I teach and the way I understand the practice.

What I studied

All my training courses took place in Bali — and not by accident. It is a place with an authentic yoga tradition, with instructors who live what they teach and with an energy you do not easily find elsewhere. The environment in which you learn matters as much as the content — and Bali taught me that best.

How I teach

What matters to me in a class

I do not have a rigid method. I have a few things I genuinely believe in and try to bring to every session, regardless of the style of the class.

Not every class needs to be intense. Not every student needs to reach the same posture. And no class ends without shavasana.

Adapting to the person in front of me

I do not teach the same class mechanically. I see who is in the room and adapt — the pace, the intensity, the cues. Yoga is not one-size-fits-all.

A complete class, every time

Warm-up, practice, shavasana. Never skipping the ending because "there is no time". Shavasana is not a bonus — it is part of the class.

Progress without pressure

I love seeing people progress, but never by force. Every body has its own pace and that is completely fine.

Real presence

An hour of yoga should feel like you were truly there — not like you ticked something off a list. That is what I try to create in every class.

Come to a class

If what you have read resonates with you, the best next step is to come and see what it is like in person.
