Bali has changed me four times. In November, I'm taking you with me.

Every time I start packing for Bali, I remember the first time.

I had landed on the island for my first teacher training, full of big emotions and a complicated relationship with scooters, which in Bali are the equivalent of walking.

On my first ride, my course mate promised it was "just a bit of a way". That bit turned out to be half an hour through rice fields. And somewhere along that road, holding tightly onto the scooter's handle, it hit me: I'm in Bali. Everything around me looks extraordinary. And there's every chance this is the start of a great adventure.

It was.

Why I keep going back

I've been four times so far, roughly a month each time. Each time I continued my yoga education: dedicated courses, but also classes of every intensity, alongside people from all over the world. And between classes, my two great loves: beaches and vegan food. Bali has both in abundance.

Bali shaped the way I practise yoga.

Bali shaped the way I practise yoga. I try to bring a bit of Bali into every class I teach. And when someone asks me what it's like there, my answer is simple: a bad day in Bali is still a better day than in most places in the world.

Canggu and Uluwatu, the island's two faces

In Canggu, the first time you step onto the beach, you seriously wonder if you died on the plane and this is heaven. It feels infinite. Canggu has energy, vegan cafés on every corner and a community that never sleeps.

Uluwatu is something else. A slower rhythm, dramatic cliffs above the ocean and the most extraordinary sunsets you'll see in your life. I'm not exaggerating. There too, if you have the patience to climb down a few thousand steps, you reach Green Bowl Beach. It's the place I think of most when I'm not there.

When I started building this retreat, I knew I couldn't choose between them. So I didn't.

Private Retreat in Bali: 27 November – 11 December 2026

I'd been carrying this idea for a long time. After the retreats I ran this year, after everything I've learned about Bali and the people I've met there, I finally gained the confidence I needed. I want to share this experience with as many people as possible.

This isn't a tourist trip. It's a 14-day escape, organised down to the smallest detail, designed as a getaway between friends. A small group of people who resonate with the same lifestyle, living in the rhythm of the island: sunsets, movement sessions that reset your body, and long conversations under the palm trees.

The retreat is girls only, 18+. It's for you if you want to experiment with vegan food, explore nature and new places, stay active and connect with the world around you through yoga. To live in the present, not in the feed.

Week 1: Canggu

We leave on 27 November and land on the 28th, spending the first 8 nights in a stunning boutique location, tucked away from the bustle yet close to the best vegan cafés in Bali. We have our own private pool, generous relaxation spaces and breakfast included every morning. And I can't wait for my favourite moment: the contrast between jet lag and the first vegan breakfast at the crack of dawn. It's a feeling I can't describe — it has to be lived.

Week 2: Uluwatu

We move for the remaining 5 nights to the spectacular cliffs in the south of the island, at a 4-star resort with an infinity pool and ocean views. The perfect place for deep quiet and the sunsets I told you about.

What's included

  • Accommodation: 13 nights in twin double rooms, shared with another participant, at hand-picked 4-star locations
  • Daily meals: full breakfast every morning, plus one main meal a day (dinner or brunch), focused on the best plant-based dining Bali has to offer
  • Movement programme: guided yoga and mindfulness sessions every other day, accessible for any level
  • Complete on-site logistics: all airport transfers, plus private transport for changing locations and excursions

Flights and travel insurance are not included. Each participant books their own preferred flight, and I can guide you on the best routes and times to buy.

"I'd love to make it to Bali someday, but..."

I hear this a lot. Followed by all the logistical details that seem overwhelming: the distance, getting around the island, where to stay, what to eat, how to manage. That's exactly why this retreat exists. I've built an experience at the most accessible price possible, where all you have to do is get on the plane. I take care of the rest.

No, you don't have to get on a scooter. We have private transport for every activity included in the programme. The muscle soreness I had in my palm after my first scooter adventure stays exclusively in my own story.

I'll be honest with you about the other delicate subject too: Bali belly is real. But after four stays, I've learned every trick and precaution that makes life there much more pleasant and safe. You come equipped with my experience, not just my probiotics.
