I teach three types of yoga in Timișoara — each with its own pace, purpose and energy. Whether you come for relaxation, movement or something in between, there is a class for you.
Yin is my favourite class to teach — and the reason is simple: it is the place where people truly stop. We hold postures longer, go deeper, and let the body release the tension we carry with us every day. It is not easy to be still — but that is exactly the practice.
What you get
Not at all — in fact, the stiffer you are, the more you benefit. Yin does not require performance, it requires patience.
Yes, in many cases. Please let me know before class and I will adapt the postures to what you feel. We never work through force.
Of course. Everyone is welcome at the Saturday class, Romanian speaker or not — just let me know beforehand and I will do my best to guide you in English too.
Summer break — no class in July–August, back in September
Yin-Yang is the Sunday class — and I teach it in English because many of the people who come are expats or work in international environments. The first part is active, we move, we build a little warmth in the body. The second part we come down, let everything go. It is my way of ending the week well.
What you get
It is more dynamic — the first part of the class involves movement, but the pace is moderate and accessible. If you have ever done any form of yoga or sport, you will be absolutely fine.
Yes — I teach Yin-Yang Yoga in English every Sunday at 11:00 at Piața Plevnei 4, Timișoara. Open to all levels and all backgrounds.
Power Yoga is for the days when you want to really move. It is a more energetic, dynamic yoga — you synchronise breath with movement and feel the body wake up. I teach it at Gym One, locations 2 and 5, which means it is easy to fit into your weekly routine without any extra travel.
What you get
Yes. I explain each posture and offer simpler variations for beginners. No prior experience needed — just curiosity and a mat.
The breath. In Power Yoga every movement is linked to an inhale or exhale — that completely changes how you experience the exercises. Less mechanical, more present.
I teach Yin Yoga on Saturdays (Romanian, Piața Plevnei), Yin-Yang Yoga on Sundays (English, Piața Plevnei) and Power Yoga on weekdays at Gym One, locations 2 and 5.
Yin is a slow, meditative practice — postures held for 3–5 minutes, deep work with fascia and joints. Yin-Yang has an active first part followed by a restorative one. Both are accessible to anyone.
Yes — I teach Yin-Yang Yoga in English every Sunday, 11:00–12:00, at Piața Plevnei 4. Open to everyone, regardless of experience.
One studio session costs 70 lei (approx. €14). With the Yogi membership (4 sessions, 200 lei) you get 50 lei per class. Power Yoga at Gym One is included in the gym membership.
Absolutely — in fact many of my students came the first time with no experience at all. The hardest part is getting to the first class. After that it becomes natural.
